Munnar

It is one of the most beautiful hill stations in all of India. It is situated at the confluence of three rivers Mudrapuzha, Nallathani and Kundala. The fresh scent of the eucalyptus leaves, breathtaking scenic beauty, lush green tea plantations and calm environment make Munnar vacations very special. Activities like boat and horse rides are also at offer. A few km away is the Echo point from where you can enjoy the most panoramic view of the Munnar hills but the amazing part is that you can hear your own voice echo from this point. You should certainly visit this little paradise.

Kumarakom

Famous for its gleaming backwaters and houseboats, Kumarakom is another favorite tourist spot. We can say this place came into prominence after Booker Prize winner Arundhati Roy mentioned its immense beauty in her novel God of Small Things. An overnight backwater cruise in beautifully decorated traditional houseboats is no doubt the most romantic thing to do when you are here. This place also has kingly luxury backwater resorts with all the modern amenities.

This place is famous for Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary is located alongside a beautiful lake and is home to tigers. It has an array of rare birds and animals which you will not see in any other Wildlife Sanctuary. You must visit this place when you are in Kerala. The immense natural wonder of this place will make your vacations a sweet memory.

Athirappilly Falls

Athirappilly Falls is again another beautiful attraction in Kerala. It is located on the Chalakudy River. You and your spouse are going to love the amazing sight of this falls where water surges down from a great height. There are also plenty of trendy cafes nearby serving delicious local food.
